In a small town in Northern California, a kid barely even 14 with ADHD and a love for music downloaded a copy of FL Studio Trial Edition. He had only made songs with his cousin before, stealing other people's instrumentals, and after watching hours of people remake and deconstruct beats, he decided that it wasn't that hard. He downloaded it, watched the first 5 minutes of an FL tutorial to figure out what a DAW was and how to use one, and set out on his own to make music and get placements. One year later, the same kid has DistroKid, knows 5 instruments, and on top of that how to produce a beat, mix it, and master it, with or without vocals. The kid knows slowing, reverbing, and remastering songs is the best way to bring people to his channel, and hopefully to his Instagram, Spotify and Apple Music.
