Wendy Hamm

I am Wendy, a widow of 4 years--not a title I ever wanted, yet one I was thrown into. The sudden loss of my husband thrust me and our daughters into a tailspin. It was quite a challenge to keep moving forward while working through grief. This channel will discuss all things widowhood, grief, AND hope! Books, people, quotes, interviews, music...all of it as it relates to healing.
It is now my life passion to BE for others what I needed as I was healing and figuring out life as "just Wendy". I am now a coach for widows. People WANT to DO something for their loved one who has just become a widow and they do: casseroles, blankets, cards, flowers, food, etc are all wonderful expressions of heartfelt love. I didn't even KNOW what I needed at the time, but it was truly to talk to another human being who lived through it and succeeded-because I knew if she made it, then I would too.
