The Wildlife Extension
Established Feb 2021, The Wildlife Extension is maintained by UNH Cooperative Extension Professor & Wildlife Specialist Matt Tarr, as a source of free educational information. This material is intended to help the public & natural resource professionals identify, steward, and conserve habitat for vertebrate & invertebrate wildlife. Most of the material included on The Wildlife Extension is in the form of presentations developed by Matt and other natural resource professionals who work primarily in New Hampshire, USA. Much of the information contained in these presentations is applicable throughout the New England region, and many of the concepts can be applied to wildlife and habitats occurring throughout North America. If you are interested in managing and conserving habitats, your first step should be to contact local natural resource professionals who can help guide your efforts. In NH, contact your county Extension Forester: https://extension.unh.edu/programs/forests-trees.
