Evil Lair Electronics
Don't just talk, have data to back it up!
The name of this channel originated with some facebook "experts". In the early days of the pandemic when things were locked down to a ridiculous level, I stated that I had spent several hundred dollars on ferrite, had wound hundreds of transformers over a few months, and had measured the losses across all of them in attempts to find some lower loss options than the FT240 and FT140 singles or stacks which were being used by the masses. Some butthurt "expert" who was offended due to me stating that his 3 stack of 52 mix toroids were not efficient across all of 80 to 10 meters then told me to just shut up, go back to my evil lair, and keep making my useless transformers. So I decided to adopt this name and start publishing my info here on youtube instead of the facebook groups where they would delete my posts and/or ban me from their groups. The channel will not necessarily always be all EFHW antenna related, but this is how it started.
