Happy Broome

Initially, project #HappyBroome was nothing more than an idea, dreamt up by PRDnationwide Broome’s marketing team Rebecca Love and Tilly Millican, with the aim to present Broome as a happy & desirable place to live by showing off the town’s great community spirit.

Inspired by the international Happy movement and multiple covers of the Pharell Williams song ‘Happy’, particularly Dundee's Version HappyDundee.com, the idea quickly gained momentum and was pitched as a collaborative project to local Businesses and influential groups. Bringing in support from Landcorp, Broome Shire, Broome Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kimberley Training Institute, The Roey, Horizon Power and Feral Films.
The #HappyBroome video features various community groups and well known faces all across the town all smiling, dancing and laughing along. Not only did it put a smile on people's faces that participated but we hope it continues to spread the message of happiness and positivity all around the world.
