Black Horse Ranch Idaho
After dreaming and working toward our goal for over a decade, we were finally able to start our family-run, pasture-based ranch in Idaho! We are relatively new to this - both Hilary and I are first-generation farmers. Many of our friends and experiences have shaped our vision, starting with the great friends in Australia we made while we lived there for almost 4 years, reflecting on our 1-year pasture-based ranching apprenticeship we completed as a family upon our return to the states a few years ago, and the amazing advice we have been given (thanks 7U Ranch!). So come with us on our journey as we try our hand at this ranching thing, and we hope that we can help, encourage, entertain, and provide healthy meats to our local community!
