ANJUMAN TARAQQI URDU (HIND)
Anjuman Taraqqi Urdu (Hind), also popularly known as Urdu Ghar, is the oldest Urdu literary institution for the preservation and promotion of Urdu language. ATUH was established by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in 1882 to douse the flames of the popular Urdu-Hindi controversy. Headquartered at Rose Avenue, New Delhi- ATUH has over 650 branches across the country and a rich collection of books and manuscripts.
