Industrial/goth act LOCKJAW, formed and led by Medavon DeRaj'e. Started in 1994 as a bedroom recording project, LOCKJAW has gone on to release 17 independent albums including the 2024 full length, ominously titled Songs of Death. The seventeenth release overall sees frontman Medavon DeRaj’e and company continuing with a heavily guitar driven sound.
LOCKJAW became a household name throughout the Midwest thanks in part for sharing the stage with national acts including Mudvayne, Type O Negative, Damage Plan, Hell Yeah, Orgy, KMFDM, Mindless Self Indulgence, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Aesthetic Perfection, Lords of Acid and also providing direct support for Wednesday 13, Prong, Powerman 500 and multiple sold out shows for MARILYN MANSON.
LOCKJAW's "Bored Again" from the CD "Dirty Minds and Smiling Faces" is featured on the X-Box360 game "Dead Rising"(rereleased in Sept 2024).
