US Climate Action Network (USCAN)
US Climate Action Network's (USCAN) MISSION IS TO BUILD TRUST AND ALIGNMENTS AMONG MEMBERS TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE IN A JUST AND EQUITABLE WAY.
USCAN’s overarching goal is to bring an end to the era of fossil fuels, advocating for a transition to renewable energy sources that are restorative and just. In doing so, USCAN remains particularly focused on addressing the needs of the most vulnerable populations who are disproportionately affected by the climate crisis. This commitment includes ensuring that systematically marginalized communities have a seat at the table in discussions about climate policies and that their deep knowledge and voices are heard and prioritized in the decision-making process.
