We are our stories. This is what our Elders tell us. This channel was created to honour Elders who have generously shared teachings with us. The Wabano Centre shares them with you to honour these Elders and so that Indigenous ways of knowing and being will be preserved for generations to come.
The Wabano Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is an Indigenous Centre for Excellence in Health Service. For us, culture is treatment. Culture is the way we live mino biimaudiziwin (Ojibwe word for health, which translated literally means “the good life”). No matter what your journey, let your path lead you to Wabano.
