When Olthof Audio Productions launched in 1998, Barry Olthof had already been working as a recording engineer for many years. He is also a musician who began playing jazz-drums professionally an early age. At the Royal Conservatory in The Hague he studied music registration and Jazz drums, graduating cum laude in both with masters degrees. Since 2001, he has worked as a professor of music recording and engineering at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Since 2006 Barry Olthof is responsible for O.A.P.
