Sharada Mushti

Sharada Mushti is a Rudraveena player, trained in Dhrupad, the oldest form of Indian classical music. She is trained in the Darbhanga gharana, one of the oldest traditions of dhrupad art form. The Darbhanga gharana is influenced both by Khandar vani and Gauhar vani.
The Rudraveena, engulfed in its powerful resonance, the primordial sound, experiencing the deep sense of stillness, her sadhana is to seek that pure sound that only the Rudraveena invokes and to evoke that sense of timelessness in her expression.
With a sense of humility and reverence towards this art form, she unwaveringly keeps with the purity of both content and technique within the realms of the Rudraveena, maintaining the raga, bhava and rasa of dhrupad.
A gifted musician wish a strong aesthetic sense, thorough command over the instrument, Sharada’s music is visual, deep
and evocative leaving her audience washed with a sense of calm.
She is an A-graded artist of All India Radio, Delhi and a Sangeet Prabhakar.
