Women in Mining South Africa (WIMSA) is a volunteer-run, free-membership non-profit organisation. We provide an empowering network to support, inspire and develop the progression of women working in the mining industry in South Africa.
We organise professional events to provide a networking opportunity for our 2000+ members.
We are working to establish partnerships with government and industry.
We present at local and regional and sometimes international mining events and conferences.
We contribute to thought leadership in industry publications and through our engagement with industry issues.
We facilitate mentoring relationships between mentors and mentees.
