In 1974, Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami Srila Gurudev came to Bhubaneswar at the order of His spiritual master Srila Prabhupada. He established Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Temple, ISKCON Bhubaneswar, the last, 108th-founded project of HDG A.C. Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupada. He named it "The Crying School," a school that teaches people how to cry for Krishna.
With the blessing and inspiration of HH Haladhara Swami Maharaja, we have made this humble attempt to present the life and teachings of Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami Srila Gurudev, which we believe will help everyone to learn the art of crying for Krishna.
