UST Singers
The official YouTube channel of the UST Singers, the premier mixed choral group of Asia's oldest Catholic university, the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, founded in 1992 by Prof. Fidel Gener Calalang Jr.
In its near-three decades of existence, the choir has reaped 82 top prizes in the world's most prestigious choral competitions, visited 33 countries in Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and Oceania, and completed 33 international goodwill concert and competition tours.
The UST Singers holds the distinction in being the only choir in the world to have won twice the highly coveted Choir of the World Grand Prize - Luciano Pavarotti Trophy (in 1995 and in 2010) at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, the oldest choral competition in the world headquartered in Wales, the United Kingdom.
