Backyard boatbuilding with Sean

My name is Sean McDermott and I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, not very far from the water. I have a passion for building wooden boats in my backyard workshop. I mostly use a method called cold molding utilizing okume plywood, 2-part epoxy adhesives, various fiberglass cloths, and typically 2-part polyurethane finishes. My past builds have won first place owner-built power boat awards at the annual Wooden Boat show in Mystic, Connecticut.
