Catalina Acres Homestead
We are the Mijares! Come along with us as we figure out life on our homestead. We moved to East Texas, onto our 11 acre homestead in July of 2020, after selling our house in the DFW metroplex. We have chickens, cows, goats, pigs, and most recently, sheep. Our intentions are to raise and process our own meat, so we can rely less on outside sources. We seem to have a good grasp on raising animals, our next hurdle is going to be growing our own fruits and vegetables.
