This channel is a home for demonstration videos of hymns, psalms and gospel acclamations to support the Australian Catholic lectionary, and are traditional in style: hymns are metered, while psalms and gospel acclamations have sung responses with chanted verses following the lectionary exactly.

Psalms and gospel acclamations have been composed specifically for the project. The quality of the recordings isn't great: I sing/chant (not particularly well) with midi generated accompaniment for the responses and a capella for the verses. Nevertheless, they should be good enough for demonstration purposes! Other psalm settings by Michel Guimont and Colin Smith are also being added.

All psalms, gospel acclamations and public domain hymns can be downloaded in various formats from LiturgyShare.org. The comments box contains credits for the videos including where they can be found in mainstream hymnals and online.
