Tomasz Januchta - Double Bass Poland
Tomasz Januchta has been a double bass player of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw since 2006. He graduated from the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. A winner of national double bass competitions. A soloist. As a double bass player and chamber musician, he has been working with such chamber ensembles as the Lustosławski Quartet, Chain Ensamble, Royal Quartet, Meccore String Quartet and others. In addition to his native National Philharmonic in Warsaw, he collaborates with many orchestras in Poland and abroad.
In 2021, he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage to record all the cello suites of J.S. Bach in the arrangement of Tadeusz Pelczar.
Tomasz Januchta has been playing the Josef Rubner double bass anno 1870, belonging to the collection of the National Philharmonic.
