It serves the Polish American community and other ethnic groups, nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies through research, data analysis, publications, consulting and capacity building. Piast Institute is also a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Piast Institute in partnership with Congressional Quarterly and with the support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago has created the Polish American Communication Initiative (PACI). It is a unique tool to empower the Polish American community, give it the ability to react quickly and effectively to national and regional issues.
