Ric Edelman is a #1 NY Times bestselling author of 12 books on personal finance including his newest, The Truth About Crypto, an Amazon bestseller. He hosts The Truth About Your Future podcast and has won many accolades for hosting the country's longest-running radio show on personal finance for more than 30 years.
He was ranked three times as the nation’s #1 Independent Financial Advisor by Barron’s and founded the nation’s largest financial planning firm, now serving 1.3 million clients. Edelman is in both Research Magazine’s and Barron’s Financial Advisor Halls of Fame and is a recipient of IARFC’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Investment Advisor, RIABiz, and InvestmentNews all named him one of the most influential people in the investment management profession.
Edelman is the industry’s top financial educator. He taught personal finance at Georgetown University for nine years and is Distinguished Lecturer at Rowan University. He and his wife Jean live in Northern Virginia.
