This channel is mostly filled with shaky handheld videos of my kids singing and playing piano - plus other completely unrelated videos.
I first started recording the kids using a Flip Cam. Around 2014, I decided I needed better zoom performance so I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70 which is basically a glorified point and shoot camera with a built-in zoom lens capable of 60x/1200mm equivalent maximum zoom. It's not an expensive DSLR or mirror-less camera but it's amazing what you can capture if you adjust the settings correctly, have a steady hand and put a little extra into composing your shots. It's definitely better than using a smartphone.
I have no official position or relationship with the Mason Gross Extension division. I'm just a proud dad. If you're in the videos and you feel self–conscious ... don't be. Everyone is just watching themselves or their own kid LOL!
Btw, all that coughing and annoying talking isn't from me or my family. (I'm the guy glaring at the talkers.)
