Fluctus Ensemble

Early 2023 the Fluctus ensemble was born as a collective without fixed form, seeking to uncover and perform the most beautiful and enchanting music that the 17th and 18th century have to offer.
Its founder, Joan Casabona i Amat is a pupil under the guidance Anna Besson.

As our passion for music covers different centuries, we try to reflect this in a broad variety of qualitative programs, ranging from 17th and 18th century music to high classical or romantic chamber music, as well as newly written pieces featuring modern techniques, such as the use of electronics.
Seeing music from a much broader perspective, we aim to connect our programs to other artistic disciplines, as music can never be isolated from other forms of art. Although this remains quite a challenge in today's early music scene, we strongly believe in a system of critical experimentation, where we continue to stream our different influences and stimuli into relevant projects.
