Gene Hettel
Gene Hettel is an award-winning science writer, editor, and administrator with 52 years of extensive experience in agricultural science at The Ohio State University (OSU), Iowa State University (ISU), the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), and, for the last 30 years, at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). He is now a consulting editor and content specialist at IRRI working on various communication projects.
