Tufts Studio
I enjoy exploring the multitude of practical objects that can be made out of clay!
I am a potter and a pottery teacher based in Melbourne, Australia. In my videos my aim is to explain the processes and methods involved in making pots as simply as possible. For a good few years making pottery was my profession. My studio was focused on designing and producing handmade ceramic tableware and objects. My client list included retailers, galleries, restaurants, cafes, cultural organizations and commercial corporations. Since Covid I have taken a step back and since have focused more on teaching in a Community setting. Teaching really helps me understand the struggles and challenges faced by potters at all stages of their journey - and provides a constant source of inspiration.
