Urmi Battu teaches Indian vocal music in Livingston, NJ to kids and adults. She has been trained in a variety of different Indian musical genres by a number of renowned musicians. She has performed many times on All India radio, and has also given several live performances in India and USA. Urmi enjoys working closely with her students, and uses creative techniques to bring out the best of their musical talents. Her students have performed at various community events and shows.
