About Sixiwanzi
Sixiwanzi is an all-girl rock band with new Chinese style, heavy metal, electronic, hip-hop, fusion and more. Actually, the word “Si-Xi-Wan-Zi” is a name of a traditional Chinese food which is made by 4 meat balls. The dish is usually served in some joyful situations such as Chinese new years and weddings. It has the meaning of “bringing happiness to everyone”, this is also the reason why a girl band would use a name of a food as their band name. To bring happiness to everyone.
The lead singer Angel formed the band with guitarist Angela, bassist Yan and drummer Dong Dong in 2021. In the filleting year, they signed to PolyGram, which is an international music label under Universal Music, and released their first single “Shu Han Dynasty” which has been a great success in China.
四喜丸子成⽴於2021年，是一支帶著濃郁中華特色的中國女子樂隊，由主唱安琪、吉他⼿潤潤、⻉斯⼿嫣晴 和⿎⼿冬冬四位成員組成。樂隊⻛格以跨次元、國風、搖滾、電子等多元化融合為主，打破二次元世界，讓不同音樂風格擦出奇妙火花。
