What if Bible prophecy isn’t about our future—but our past?

Hi, I’m Zach Davis, pastor of First Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas. This page—and my YouTube channel—exist to explore biblical eschatology through the lens of preterism.

Preterism come from a Latin word that simply means “past.” It’s the view that many New Testament prophecies—like the return of Christ, the judgment, and the end of the age—were fulfilled in the first century, just as Jesus said they would be: soon, at hand, and within that generation.

Most Christians today assume these events are still to come. But what if we’ve misunderstood the timeline?

My goal is simple: to handle Scripture faithfully, think clearly, and move the conversation forward.

If that resonates with you, then take some time to check things out here. I'm honored by your support.
