Our story: Andre and Edouard Michelin founded their eponymous tire company fueled by a singular vision for the French automobile industry. In order to encourage motorists to get on the road, the Michelin brothers produced a small printed guide filled with handy information, which included a detailed listing of places to eat or to stay for the night.
Thanks to its team of anonymous inspectors reviewing restaurants, the MICHELIN Guide was born. It keeps the same mission for years: find the very best quality in restaurants.
