BIMSA
Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications is a world-class new research institution jointly built with Tsinghua University. BIMSA aims to promote the development of mathematical science, foster cross-disciplinary integration of mathematics with other sciences, cultivate and expand the talent base engaged in mathematical research in China, attract scientists and researchers globally, and establish an international academic exchange platform.
The 2024 International Congress of Basic Science will be held from July 14 to July 26. This annual event will bring together leading experts from all around to celebrate basic sciences –Mathematics, Theoretical Physics and Theoretical Computer and Information Science. Subsequent event and lectures will mainly take place at BIMSA. Over 1000 participants, including some 400 distinguished scholars, 5 Fields Medalists and 3 Turing Medal winners, 1 Nobel laureate, and numerous academicians are expected to attend.
