Oliver Janseps
I am a martial artist, student, teacher and author. I practise HEMA or Historical Fencing since 2004 and this is what this channel is about. My group "Mispeldorn" is located in Aachen Germany. We train mostly classical saber and smallsword, but also some earlier stuff and some specials as you will see here. I also learn Bastone Genovese in Italy and teach it in a local study group. It is a traditional method for walkingsticks, staffs, knives and also unarmed selfdefense and (formerly French) kickboxing. This combination of European styles fit very well together. And the third part is physical fitness, which is essential too. I will present you tools and exercies from the 19.th. cent. like Indian clubs.
