Genealogy Society Singapore
Genealogy Society Singapore was launched in July 2012.
Its objectives are as follows:
i. To establish and provide a forum to attract intellectuals, scholars and persons interested in genealogy and ancestral studies and research, the opportunity to meet, interact, share and exchange knowledge gained.
ii. To promulgate and educate members and the general public in the field of genealogy and ancestral roots so as to create greater awareness and interest that will help to promote the advancement of our multi-racial cross-cultural heritage, customs and traditions in Singapore and the Region.
iii. To seek and collaborate with relevant Government bodies, civil & public institutions, civic societies, academic institutions and individuals in or outside Singapore who share similar interests that would help achieve the purpose and objects of the Society.
