Janice Gassam Asare
Hi Everyone! Welcome to My Channel!
IT'S JANICE Z. GASSAM ASARE aka "J-Nice on the Mic"
Over a decade ago (March 2011) I started this channel to discuss topics I felt very strongly about. I mostly talked about black identity, race and racism, and social justice issues that were happening in America and abroad.
My goal with this channel has always been to stimulate conversations around topics that society is often scared to talk about. The first step towards sparking change is to start the conversation.
This channel is a space and place to facilitate these important conversations that can be the catalyst to individual and societal change.
"I love America more than any other country in the world and, exactly for this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually." -James Baldwin
