Just a Band
Just a Band are Blinky Bill, Dan Muli, Jim Chuchu and Mbithi Masya. The Kenyan outfit started making music in 2008, coming to be known for their genre-defying sounds and playful music videos, notably the 2009 phenomenon Ha-He!. In 2016, after almost a decade of playing gigs and mounting visual exhibitions around the world, the group went on a brief hiatus during which each member further explored their individual arts careers and projects. Just a Band reunited in 2020; older, still starry-eyed, charging forward on new voyages in sound and sight. Do you want to fly?
