hesangasong
fellow kapustin connoisseur
I'm a self-taught musician who loves writing jazz-classical piano music, often inspired by works of Nikolai Kapustin.
My goal is to bring the essence of virtuoso classical piano music to pop culture, juxtaposing with jazz harmonies.

FAQ
Q: What program do you use?
A: I currently use Dorico for any sheet music works, and FL Studio to record and sequence any audio tracks.
Q: Is your performance live recording or midi with VST?
A: I record my performance via a midi keyboard and then edit them to correct any mistakes. If the piece is difficult I record at a slower tempo and record part by part and stitch them later. So to summarize, a bit of both.
Q: What VST do you use?
A: I am currently using Keyscape and VSL Boesendorfer Upright Piano.
Q: Did you study music?
A: I have not formally studied music (i.e. go to a conservatory). I did take piano lessons when I was young but composing was mostly self-taught.
