I'm Michaela, a research scientist with my PhD (& master's), and I share studies here on weight loss, nutrition, health & fitness to help you reach your goals!
The vast majority of scientific findings never get seen by anyone outside academia--and the studies that do make it to the public are often misreported. It takes years of training to learn how to assess whether studies were done well, and how to properly interpret them. But the people with the actual research training rarely help disseminate the findings to the public.
That's why I started this channel: to use my decade of research training at top research universities--and my current career running & publishing studies of my own at the intersection of neuroscience and nutrition--to help make the scientific progress that's relevant to your life more accessible!
