Tabla for Two is a musical duo consisting of Masood Omari and Abigail Adams Greenway. Masood is from Ghazny, Afghanistan and Abigail is from Erie, Pennsylvania, USA....Together they have created exciting arrangements and original compositions ...playing classical Eastern beats, traditional Afghan music and Old Bollywood with Western style, producing a powerful fusion for the tabla (highly complex drums used in Eastern classical music). Masood is also singing while playing the Tabla... a most challenging and difficult musical skill.
Their original music for two Tabla players (Composed by Masood) is called their ‘NEW MUSIC FOR THE NEW WORLD’ ....sophistical compositions bringing East and West together while drawing from a rich musical history.
