In early in 2017, I started gathering all the information I could find to build quality boutique, custom guitars; I didn’t attempt my first build for over 6 months, until I thought I had sufficient knowledge to produce an instrument that felt good, played well, and sounded good. If I couldn’t fill these criteria, I might just as well put a stick in a box.
Since that first build, I’ve tried many different neck, box, pickups, tuner, and fret board configurations.
We call our current neck the P16, because it’s actually made from 16 separate pieces of wood, they are jigged and glued together to produce a very strong attractive through body neck. Our boxes differ from the norm, as we use a variety, cigar box, tea box, jewelry box, the big box; we also make boxes for our number plate guitars, and any customer specials.
