LENAU ARTS

I write new Christmas songs to bring back a little of the Christmas spirit that I and others experienced in my/their youth, but sometimes with a different musical style than usual.

Based on the works of long-dead poets, which – as far as I know – have never been set to music before, I used their texts, reworked them and – completely inexperienced in music – composed songs with the help of AI, one for each day of Advent in my native language, German, and another in a different language, with some special features.

Of course, I can see and hear the metallic sound and imperfections of AI. But I think it would be a shame if these songs weren't released. Think of the songs as a kind of Advent calendar for You and Your journey back to Christmas as it was, when You were younger

Maybe You can tell me what you think of the songs and whether AI is acceptable for the holiest festival in Christianity. I say yes.

Best wishes for a silent Advent and a merry Christmas followed by a lucky 2026
