Waterford Estate
The Helderberg Mountain is the backdrop to our vineyard, the bearer of our terroir, and the home of our passion.
The Waterford Way - a passion that is imbued into every step taken at Waterford Estate, and in every visitor of our tasting room. From nurturing nature to guiding our wines to showcase the intriguing character of the Helderberg Mountain, the Waterford Estate team is passionate about guiding authentic experiences.
Founded in 1998 and situated in the world-renowned Stellenbosch region, we have chosen to use only half of the total 120 hectares of land for the planting of vines, in order to preserve and maintain the natural fauna and flora on the Estate.
The Waterford Estate winery offers a relaxing setting where guests can sit and enjoy various tasting options. With the wine cellar built surrounding the courtyard, guests can observe the workings of the winery, and get a true feel for the wine making process without disrupting the tranquillity of their tasting.
