TECHNICIAN ENGINEERING 'MECHANICAL PRINCIPLES' (with Maths support)
This channel endeavours to support Level 3, 4 & 5 Technician Engineering students.
These videos contain 'full lecture' content, so quite lengthy.
Students’ feedback suggest the videos are ‘useful’, which is very pleasing to know. There are mistakes in some videos not yet corrected and sometimes terminology used (e.g. ‘negative’ and ‘minus’) is unfortunately conflated, but it is hoped this does not detract significantly from students' overall learning. Bibliographies are stated at the end of most videos.
This channel was created hastily due to the UK Covid-19 lockdown (April 2020), when HND students had to study 'Laplace transforms' to complete their BTEC L5 Further Maths unit. Laplace videos were very hurriedly (but not very professionally!) recorded to aid their self-study. Due to these dedicated students' positive engagement/feedback, further channel development was encouraged. My grateful thanks to them.
