The bugle and the hedgehog.

An old bugle always tells a story. Here are some old ones who were made in Belgium, in workshops that are long gone.
A few from the UK , the Netherlands, Germany and France too.
Handcrafted by artisans with utmost care in bygone days.
When you play them, it´s like evoking a voice from the past...
Bugles were used by postal services , firefighters and the military. As well as by the first bikers to give signals, and fanfares. ( In the days when bikes still had a big front wheel and a tiny one trailing behind )

Like a hedgehog that´s always on the lookout for a juicy snail or two, I´m always on the lookout for a "juicy" place to sound a bugle. Juicy, as in wildly varying places 😄😁.
Reverb can be magnificent in the most unexpected places.

Beware : I´m not an accomplished player at all !! 😀
