Austin Tech Council

The Austin Technology Council was founded in 1992 to be the unifying voice of tech in Central Texas. Since that time many things have changed in the Austin Tech ecosystem.... but the need to unite the community continues. As the city has expanded and 1.5 million more people have moved to the region in 30 years, tripling the number of people in the area, Austin and the ATC continue to grow and change.

The most visionary leaders of the 1990s came together to plan for what then following decades could look like and how Austin could become a tech hub that the whole world would notice. Today we need to convene our modern day visionary leaders to do the same thing. The Austin Technology Council is working to find those leader and have the necessary discussions to ensure the miracle that happened in our region continues.

Community, collaboration, and conversations can solve all problems...and that is the purpose of the Austin Technology Council.
