Electric Pyramid

The music of Electric Pyramid can’t be explained, it has to be heard. It’s an alchemy that appears as if by magic.
The goal ? The quest for the perfect song. And if there were a club guarded by Pearl Jam, Eagles, Nirvana, or Weezer, there’s no doubt they would welcome Electric Pyramid with open arms.
Their second album, produced by John Cornfield (Muse, Robert Plant, Oasis), is titled “Lion” , It’s also the name of a song, an ode to resilience that evokes a force of nature : Ol’s daughter, the band’s frontman’s child. “Diorama” celebrates the sense of wonder that lies dormant within us, while “Land of Ghosts” tells not a ghost story, but one of eternal lives.
The substance is one of the album’s great strengths; the form at times fiery, at others tender is another. And if the guitars are so prominent, it’s because, as frontman Ol jokes, “in a band, the guitars always rule !”
But in the end, who’s complaining?
