The Steel Woods carved their place in the world of Southern rock and country with a sound that was both raw and refined, blending powerful storytelling, masterful musicianship, and an undeniable grit. Co-founded by Jason "Rowdy" Cope and Wes Bayliss, the band emerged as a force in modern Southern rock, carrying the torch of legends who came before them while forging their own path.

Their music was marked by haunting melodies, thunderous riffs, and heartfelt lyrics. But beyond the music, The Steel Woods were a brotherhood, built on deep bonds and a shared love for honest, hard-hitting songs.

The legacy of Jason "Rowdy" Cope, whose visionary guitar work and songwriting shaped the band's identity, remains at the heart of The Steel Woods. Though he passed away in 2021, his spirit echoes in every note, every lyric, and every moment of their music.
