Pounam Marathon Hero

I’m Pounam Marathon Hero — a proud Rongmei Naga from Tamenglong, Manipur, and part of the larger Zeliangrong Naga community across Assam, Manipur & Nagaland. Through every run, I carry the spirit, resilience, and legacy of our heroes Haipou Jadonang and Rani Gaidinliu, whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire me.

I’m a long-distance runner, fitness enthusiast, and pacer, dedicated to endurance and the joy of movement. From high-altitude marathons like Ladakh and Tawang to daily runs, I inspire others through pacing, form, recovery, and mental strength.

In my next marathon, I’ll be running in my Rongmei & Zeliangrong ethnic wear, honoring my roots, culture, and identity with every stride.
