Gerhard Kero

Gerhard is a musician and rhythm researcher. For many years he has been exploring Sub-Saharan rhythmic cultures which led to strongly involve hiself in co-founding the European Djembe culture. His stage work and compositional / production activity spans a range from world music to jazz, his grooves decorate around 20 albums in the meantime. He founded the first drum school in the German-speaking countries: beatfactory. Since that time his daily business is using rhythm to transform groups of individuals into communities. He established a comprehensive graduate education for djembe culture and an artistic concept for an analog rhythmic intervention to develop social skills and increase team cohesion, which has been successfully implemented with countless teams. He devotes himself to rhythm research related to social competences, group cohesion, flow and onomatopoeia.
