Alain Rieder - Drums
Alain Rieder is a musician and educator based in Geneva. After starting on the cello at the age of six, he developed a passion for drumming and created innovative exercises focusing on polyrhythms, odd time signatures, and rhythmic displacement. A graduate of the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, he has collaborated with various artists, including Frank Gambale, and taught at several renowned institutions.
The author of Time Initiation and Time Manipulation, Alain introduces innovative concepts such as Pattern Morphing. His upcoming method delves deeper into the melodic exploration of polyrhythms. His books are available here in print and as eBooks through Hudson Music.
