Melissa Marro with Squirrel and Bee
Melissa Marro, one of the top US home stagers has branched out into the DIY arena. This channel will showcase her love of home decor and DIY. Since Melissa was little she was interested in decorating. Even as a tween, she often sat at her desk with custom drawn furniture pieces (of what was in her room) and grid paper and map out the next floor move. Once she was married, it was routine for her husband to come home from sea, he was in the Navy, and find the house looking completely different than when he left. Since money was tight, as a military family, DIY was a necessity for a charming, well-decorated home. Before Melissa opened her first staging company in 2005, she created arts & crafts and sold them in stores, booths, and shows. Now she's come full circle, coming back to her crafting/DIY roots.
