Nutritional Therapy for IBD
Nutritional Therapy for IBD is a volunteer-led non-profit organization dedicated to improving the outcomes of patients with IBD through the use of nutrition. Many of our team members are individuals or family members of individuals with IBD. Our passion for this work stems from our successful experience utilizing nutritional therapy, alone or in combination with meds, to achieve remission, both clinically in resolution of symptoms and objectively via reduction of inflammatory markers and mucosal healing.
Our vision: As science supports the centrality of nutritional therapy in the management of IBD, we strive for every patient (child or adult), to receive the option to include it in their medical plan for optimal success.
Our mission: To promote awareness of the efficacy of available nutritional therapies and to provide resources to aid in the integration of nutritional therapy into clinical practice.
